At Neuro S.P.A.C.E. ABA, we are a local, family-owned business founded with a vision to enhance Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) for families in Central Pennsylvania. Born from five years of careful planning and a deep commitment to our community, our mission is to provide compassionate, personalized care that empowers children and their families.
Our founders, parents themselves, recognized the need for accessible, high-quality behavioral health services tailored to the unique needs of each child. Drawing from personal experiences and professional expertise, they established Neuro S.P.A.C.E. ABA to fill the gap in services available to families in the region.
We offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to support children and young adults facing behavioral, emotional, and developmental challenges.
As a family-owned business, we understand the importance of trust, communication, and collaboration. We are proud to serve the Central PA community, helping children reach their full potential and supporting families on their journey toward a brighter future.
Hi, I’m Jennifer Waugh, MS, BCBA, LBS.
With over 27 years of experience in early childhood education and behavioral therapy combined, I am deeply committed to supporting children and families in Central, PA and beyond.
I hold a Master of Science in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) with a focus on ASD, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and an Associate of Science in Human Development and Family Studies. Since 2001, I have had the privilege of teaching preschool, developing childcare curricula, and leading after-school programs. In 2007, I took a significant step by opening my own childcare and preschool center in Altoona.
My journey in behavioral therapy began in 2018 when I became a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), and in 2024, I earned my Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification. These credentials reflect my dedication to understanding and addressing the unique needs of students with behavioral challenges.
Beyond my professional life, I am a proud mother (and stepmother) of seven children. My personal experiences, including raising a child with Autism and another with intellectual learning delays due to epilepsy and ADHD, have enriched my perspective and deepened my empathy.
As the owner of Neuro S.P.A.C.E. ABA, I bring my knowledge, experience, and compassion to every interaction. I am passionate about creating a supportive environment where children can thrive, and families can find the guidance and resources they need.
